Arrived in Dublin at 6am & left the ship after breakfast. We are meeting up with our friend John Kettle for an early lunch. He & Susan now live in London so will be having dinner with them when there. Cool here, only 59C but that suits us!!
Enjoyed an hour or so with John, we had coffee then walked to the Dublin Castle & on to Christ Church Cathedral which to our surprise is Anglican! George & I had lunch at the Dubliner - guiness beef casserole and a pint of guiness each. Another hour or so in the shops & I'm ready to return to the ship as last shuttle from town is at 4.30. Looking forward to Scotland tomorrow. Go Pies.
